At The Horseshoe Day Nursery our attitude is that we care as much as you do. When you put your child into our care you are entering into a partnership both with the staff at our nursery and the organisation as a whole. We will work in close partnership with our parents to ensure that we develop our nursery in line with each child’s own individual needs as well as the appropriate regulatory authorities. Our nursery staff are the entire backbone of the whole nursery. We invest highly in recruiting the best staff available as well as their ongoing training and development to ensure that they keep their skills and knowledge up to date. Each child has a key worker assigned with whom the parents can build an ongoing relationship to ensure that the care given that is given to the child while at our nursery mirrors the care that the child receives at home.

All of our nursery nurses are fully qualified to Btec Nationals/NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Our nursery assistants are qualified to NVQ level 2 and have experience of working with children under the age of 5. Our senior staff are recruited for their wealth of experience as well as being highly qualified individuals. We also employ an Early Years professional to oversee our EYFS.

All of our staff are police checked.

Confidentiality

All records on children and staff are kept locked away. Our staff are aware of the need for confidentiality within the nursery and will not discuss matters outside the premises. We discourage discussions about individual children outside of the nursery. Concerns about any child will be discussed with the parents in a quiet and discreet manner.
